Pharmacological action:

Bismuth carbonate is coated on the surface of the intestinal mucosa, and free bismuth ions can also combine with hydrogen sulfide in the intestinal tract to form insoluble bismuth sulfide, which covers the intestinal surface, thereby providing mechanical protection to the intestinal mucosa and reducing the impact of hydrogen sulfide on the intestinal mucosa.
